This blog is going to showcase fun stuff that I've made that didn't come from ideas in my Pinterest newsfeed. Some will be original ideas, others will be spawned from shop-talk on craft forums and forums for "haunters" (Halloween enthusiasts, usually those who make props in their displays, but not all do).
Things that I make:
Halloween display props (and some cute decorations as well)
"Christmas" decorations (although none are religious, hence the quotes)
"Easter" decorations (non-religious, just cute)
jewelry components and finished jewelry
Pinterest:
Pretty much everything else comes from things that I *have* found in my Pinterest feed, or things that aren't exactly fun--like household cleansers. I've given up most of my own household cleanser recipes for those that I've pinned, anyway. So, I have a
board for non-food items that I've pinned and made. OK...there's nothing there yet, but there will be eventually. I wish that there was
an effortless/seamless way to connect Pinterest to this blog, but the
best I can do is post the link: Pins I've Made--Non-food
That board will consist only of things that I've made that
have worked as well as they should have.
That said, I
also have a food pin board that consists solely of recipes that I've
tried, that we enjoyed. Not much of it is healthy food, so keep that in
mind if you pin something from it. Some of those pins are the most
unhealthy things I've seen yet. ;) I kept them because I think I'll
try to make healthier versions someday, because my family likes them.
